A strong contingent of 27 swimmers from the Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club competed in the 50m sprint events across Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly, delivering an impressive display of speed and determination.
Nineteen swimmers progressed through to the Semi-Finals, with many qualifying in all four events.
To secure their place, competitors were required to finish in the Top 8 of their respective events — a benchmark our swimmers met with confidence.
The Heats were conducted at the Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre and hosted by Wodonga City Swimming Club, providing a high-quality competitive environment for the region’s emerging talent.
