The Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association Domestic Grand Finals were held over the last two weeks with presentations for the grand final teams and award winners.

It was so great to have a full year of competition back again, with fantastic player numbers and game timeslots pushed to capacity at the ECA.
All grand finals were great spectacles for spectators, with some close games and quality basketball on show.

The next season will start in March 2023 with registrations open online from late January. The YMBA AGM will be held this week on Thursday, December 8 at 7pm upstairs at the Yarrawonga College P- 12 ECA Centre. New committee members are required – all welcome.
Rep Basketball
The Shepparton Junior Basketball Tournament was held last weekend across the Goulburn Valley. With some 260 teams entered across various divisions, the Lakers seven representative teams more than held their own.
Some great basketball was played. Thanks to all the coaches and parents for your support.
The Under 16 boys won through to the Div 2 Grand Final where they went down 36-46 to Tatura.
This Sunday, December 11 Yarrawonga Mulwala Rep Basketball has the Sock Awards and Christmas Breakup, 6pm at Burkes Hotel.
Best wishes to Jess Freeman, Loch Harvey, James Fraser and coach Brett Harvey who depart in the coming days for a basketball tour in the USA.
A reminder that the Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association AGM is to be held at 7pm this Thursday, December 8, upstairs at the Yarrawonga College P-12 ECA Centre.
Parents are encouraged to attend to support and help keep kids on the court.
