Yarrawonga Mulwala Cricket Club will have two talented young players involved in the North East Knights Winter Academy after Darcy Hargreaves and Kirsty Plevnik earned selection in their respective squads.

Hargreaves has been named in the Boys Under 16 squad, while Plevnik will represent the club in the Girls Under 15 squad.
The pair will take part in a series of high-intensity, skills-based training sessions at the Wodonga Cricket Hub throughout the pre-season.

North East Knights’ Talent Manager Rohan Larkin said the program will focus on developing players’ technical, tactical, physical, mental and personal skills as they continue their progression through the cricket pathway.
“Following the academy sessions, trial matches will be held in early October, with players vying for selection in the final North East Knights squads of 13 to compete at the Cricket Victoria Male and Female Country Cups in December,” Larkin said.
Their selection provides an exciting opportunity for the two Yarrawonga Mulwala youngsters to test themselves alongside some of the region’s best emerging cricketers and continue developing their games at a higher level.
