Mr C Roy Poyser – A beloved friend to animals

Roy Poyser was a lifelong lover of animals, and made it his life's mission to advocate for greater kindness and empathy towards them.

A beloved and generous supporter of Lort Smith Animal Hospital, RSPCA Victoria and The Lost Dogs’ Home, Roy made an extraordinary contribution to our organisations, impacting the wellbeing of countless animals.

It has been our privilege to know Roy. We will remember with great fondness his determination, his sense of duty, his fierce advocacy, his characteristic smile, and how his face lit up in the company of the animals he loved so much. He leaves an incredible legacy, that will live on through our work for animals for years to come.

We are deeply grateful for Roy’s friendship, his unwavering belief in our missions, and his lifelong commitment to animals.
