Darling Wife (JoyBells) to Fred (dec)
Loving Mum
to Heather, Ricky, Rodney and Natalie
Mother in law to Alan, Janine, John.
Proud and devoted Grandmother (Nanny) to Margot, Tessa, Piers,
Serena, Hugh and Kai.
Loved daughter of Ethel and Les. (both dec)
Loved sister to Dawn.
Family was the centre of Joy’s universe.
Joy was devoted to Fred, to the four of us and to her grandchildren.
Her “raison d’être” was to care, nurture and provide, be that from the
oven, the sewing machine, the knitting needles, or her heart.
Joy wore many hats: wife, mother, grandmother and
friend, potter, painter, artist, macrame-ist, crocheter, driver, neighbour and gardener,
with a passion for roses and a love of colour.
She threw herself into our activities: fund raiser, committee member and
costume sewer.
Along with Fred, Joy loved a trip to Chaddy for a coffee, completing a
complicated jigsaw, a trip to Noosa or the annual pilgrimage to Tathra.
Racing was in her blood, she loved a flutter, and best if it was an Irish
Grey with a quirky name.
Joy lived for her family, Fred, children and grandchildren, we will miss her smile, her warmth, her voice on the end of the phone and mostly her love.
Re - united with Fred, forever in our hearts.
