John died peacefully after a brief illness at University Hospital Geelong, aged 88.

Dearly loved and devoted husband of Jan.
Loving and proud father of Joanne and Patrick, Paul and Jillian, Anna and Michael, Drew and Laura.

Adored Pop of his 10 beautiful grandchildren; Tom, Sam, Matilda, Max, Jack, Harrison, Grace, Ben, Ned and Cal, who he loved with all his heart.
