It is with great sadness that we announce the funeral of Jocelyn Cull Finch, wife, mother to four children, sister, daughter, and a friend to many in our community. Jocelyn was the centre of her universe, and she will be sadly missed by her family and friends across the world. Jocelyn died of natural causes peacefully at home.
Jocelyn gave selflessly to help thoseless fortunate in the community. As a Board member of Essington School, she advocated for children. As the President of St Vincent de Paul Society NT, she fought tirelessly for the most disadvantaged in our community. As a Dame of the Order of Malta, she supported the remote communities in Daly River and Ltyentye Apurte/Santa Teresa. Through the Catholic Diocese to support the Alma Community disabled school in Dili. She raised money to build the Presbytery in Mswero Parish in Tanzania.
As a long-term Territorian, Jocelyn touched everyone she met with her enthusiasm and energy and was taken from us too early, leaving a space that will be hard to fill. She will be missed by the many around the world she touched with her generosity.
Jocely's Funeral will be held at 9:30am on Thursday 23 April 2026 at St Mary's Cathedral in Darwin. A livestream or recording link will be available for those unable to attend the service.
