Malcolm is sorry to announce the Passing of his beloved mother Merle Hoad, the only child of "Mollie"

Margaret Ryan and "Ronnie" Ronald Ferguson Scott

of Springhill Brisbane. She Married the Love of her life, John Richard Hoad and moved to his family home in Surrey Hills, Sydney to raise their Family.

Sadly predeceased by daughter Linda Jane

McGuinness, and sons Sean Michael and Paul

Robert Hoad,she leaves the world with her

grandchildren Tammy, Sara, Michael and Ben

McGuinness, Lauren,Maddison and Jack Hoad.

She was a proud great grandmother to Ellen,

CJ, Olivia, Lilliana, Azz, Mara, Blaze, Mena, Malia, Mickey and Melody and thrilled to be Great Grandmother to

Soraya, Lotus and Leah

She was an avid reader of the Herald and devoted

member of Chelsea, Souths Juniors and Seniors Rugby League Clubs, ALP Surrey Hills and the AMU.

All friends and family are invited to the funeral at

Simplicity Woy Woy Railway Street on the 6th August 2026 at 11 am, and the wake immediately after at the Ettalong Diggers Bistro.

The funeral will be live streamed for any who cannot attend
