Late of Cairns. Passed away peacefully on Sunday 3rd May 2026 at Regis Aged Care Home, Redlynch. Aged 82 years.
Dearly loved Husband of Gwendoline. Cherished Father to Rachael, Rohan, Joel and Renae. Grandfather to Caleb, Ozzie, Madisson, Chanel, Rachael (Jnr), Logan, Ella, Kirra and Xavier. Great Grandfather to Harry, Bree-Ella and Mariah. Son of David and Elizabeth (nee Joinbee) Hodges. Brother of Cecelia, Dallas, Stephen, Marilyn (dec) and Brian.
All family and friends are respectfully invited to attend John's funeral service which will be held at Cairns Funeral Directors Chapel, 36 Pease Street, Manoora on Thursday 21st May 2026 commencing at 10am.
Following the service the cortege will proceed to the Cairns Cemetery, Anderson Street, Cairns.
