With great sadness, the Whisson family announces the passing of Eric Noel Whisson of Cedar Creek, on Monday, 14 September 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, Warren, Jordan, Todd, Narelle, Colley, Barry and Erica; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Everyone who knew or remembers Eric is warmly invited to attend the funeral service.

In memory of Eric
Eric saw the world in colours most of us could only dream of.
To him, the land was alive, the skies spoke softly, and every stretch of gum and grass carried a story worth painting.
He caught light as it shifted across the clouds, the mountains and the trees and somehow, he painted silence; the kind you only hear when you truly listen.
He didn’t just capture landscapes. He captured life itself.
The world feels a little emptier without him, but it’s also richer because he was here, because he saw beauty everywhere, and because he showed us how to see it too.
