It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing in Brisbane, on Tuesday 14th April, of our beloved sister and aunt, Vickie Blanche Kerr (nee Cairns) and wife of Phil Kerr.

Phil, a devoted and loving husband was by her side.

Our sister, Vickie was such an amazing lady.

Her spirit, kindness and positivity were infectious and she will be remembered forever for her boundless generosity.

Vickie enjoyed her career as an educator in Townsville and Ayr and she excelled in that field because of her expertise and great love when interacting with children.

Her quirky sense of humour was legendary. She bought joy and laughter to so many.

A private cremation took place in Brisbane on the 22nd of April.

Vickie will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

As Bowen was Vickie’s hometown, there will be a memorial for our sister at a date to be advised.
