YMBA Representative Presentation Night

Neil Walker was awarded the prestigious Life Membership of Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association.

Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association held their Presentation Night for the 24/25 season on Saturday, May 3 at Club Mulwala with the event a huge success, with more than 160 people attending to celebrate the season.

Kayla Oughton was honoured with the Senior Club Person of the Year.

A highlight of the night was awarding Neil Walker Life Membership.

Neil first started his involvement with YMBA in 1980, and throughout the years has been a valued Coach and Committee Member, most recently coaching the Under 14 girls and overseeing the girls program.

Under 12 girls award winners: Tania Harvey (Coach), MVP - Indi Perks, Coaches Award - Sophie Dalrymple, Runner Up MVP - Milla Wollington and Assistant Coach - Ash Perks. Absent - MVP - Annabelle Kennedy.

It was also a pleasure to award Senior Club Person of the Year to Kayla Oughton and Junior Club Person of the Year to Kiera Freeman.

Under 12 boys award winners: Team Manager - Jess Cook, Coaches Award - Mitch Purtle, MVP - Marley Bigger and Runner Up MVP - Lewis Hargreaves are joined by Assistant Coach - Kayla Oughton and Coach - Dean Bigger.

Under 14A girls award winners: Assistant Coach - Tania Harvey, Team Manager - Erin Varndell, Coaches Award - Scarlett Kennedy, MVP - Layla Dunlop and Runner Up MVP - Nancy Thomas joined by Coach - Neil Walker.

Under 14B girls award winners: Coach - Jacob Palmer, Coaches Award - Remi Riches, Runner Up MVP - Milla Hoskings and MVP - Indy Burnett were joined by Assistant Coach - Kim McMillan and Team Manager - Janelle Burnett.

Under 14A boys award winners: Team Manager - Travis Buckingham, Runner UP MVP - Oscar Leary, MVP - Harper Buckingham, Coaches Award - Finnin George and Coaches Award - Riley Wallace joined by Coach - Cam Arthur.

Under 14B boys award winners: Team Manager - Kieren Kelly, MVP - Raffa Leary, Coaches Award - Ben Ferguson, Coaches Award - Nash Cook and Runner Up MVP - Lawson Kelly joined by Coach - Johnny Leary.

Under 16 girls award winners: Team Manager - Alison Cassidy, Coach - Rowan Thwaites, Runner Up MVP - Layla Thwaites, MVP - Makayla George and Coaches Award - Madison Cassidy joined by Assistant Coach - Josh Hughes. Absent - Sienna Blick - Coaches Award.

Under 18 girls award winners: Assistant Coach - Shane McDonald, Runner Up MVP - Melia McDonald, MVP - Bella Dwyer and Runner Up MVP - Samantha Knight.

Under 18 boys award winners: Team Manager - Vikki Brear, MVP - Archie Jaques, Coaches Award - Ted Brear and Runner Up MVP - Lenny Lonergan joined by coach - Andrea Jaques.
