Thieves disturbed at Mulwala

Around 1.40pm on Monday, June 26 a local tradesman attended a property in Corowa Road, Mulwala to carry out some work.   
The tradesman came across a man who was acting suspiciously at the property.  
The man was questioned about what he was doing on the property.  He then ran off down Corowa Road and into the front yards of properties facing Lake Mulwala.    
Police attended and a search was conducted.   
The man made his way to a waiting car believed to be driven by an associate.   
The car drove off and was pursued by police along Barooga Road.  
Police called off the pursuit after the driver continued to drive on the incorrect side of the road and was a danger of other road users.   
Both persons are known to police though their current whereabouts are unknown.

Tools stolen

Around 2.30am on Friday, June 23 a tradesman’s utility was broken into in Romney Street, Mulwala and a large number of tools were stolen.
