ClubMulwala Indoor Bowls
Numbers were suitable to play 9 bowl triples on Monday, July, 24.
There was only 1 x 2 game winner which was Anne McKain (s), Lyn Ryan and Phyllis Novotny with 31 points.
Second with a win and a draw and 25 points were Barb Eberle (s), Ellen Buckley and Joan Wilson.
Third with a win and a loss were Trish Murphy (s), Gwen Owen and Frank Liberg with 22 points.
On Thursday, July 27 there were 2 x 2 game winners. 
The winners with a score of 33 points were Wilf Owen (s), Judi Cummins and Noelene Leary.
The other 2 game winner with 32 points were Trish Murphy (s), Gwen Owen and Joan Wilson.
Marna Tomlinson (s), Annie King and Geoff Charlwood came third with a draw and a win and 28 points. They played 9 bowl triples.
Remember the Annual Meeting on Monday, August 7 and Charity Day on Sunday, August 13.

Yarrawonga Bowls
Another week has gone by as members slowly creep to the opening of the new bowling season.
Members managed to play all the games scheduled for the week which is good for the hardened players amongst them.
Coming up on Sunday, August 27 the club is holding a Social Bowls Day, starting at 11am.
This day is for both affiliated and non-affiliated bowlers to get together and have a bit of fun. The format of the game will be determined by the number of players on the day and lunch will be provided so come in and put your name down to enjoy this day.  
New bowlers are very welcome to come along and see what the game is all about.
Monday, July 24, bowlers played Nominated pairs 2-4-2 with 14 teams on the greens and the winners were Tony Forristal and Peter Velardo, the runners-up were Bernie Haebich and Noleen Borg.
The jackpot was claimed by Norm Elford and Doug Chamberlain.
Wednesday’s game was Jackpot Triples with 28 players on the greens and the winners of this game were Gary Polkinghorne, Norm Elford and Noleen Borg.
The runners-up were Keith Allender, Joan Ramsdale and Sam Smith.  The jackpot was not claimed on the day so it has been carried over until August 2.
Saturday’s game was 3 Bowl Triples with 28 players taking part in a fun social game the winners of the day were Max Ramsdale, Teddy Edwards and Liz Murdoch.
The runners-up were Jim Barnes, Carl Scott, Val Kennedy and Doug Corrigan (they played with 4).
The jackpot was not claimed on the day so it has been carried over until August 5.
Next week’s games are Wednesday, August 2 Jackpot Triples, Saturday, August 5 Social Game and Monday, August 7 Nominated Pairs 2-4-2.  
All games start at 12.30pm and entry for these games close at 11am on the day of the game.

Club Mulwala Outdoor Bowls
The weather this week was great for bowlers and Tuesday Social was well supported once again.
Winners on the day were John Thurling and Jean Wheeler, runners-up were Dodi and Cliff Morton. The jackpot did not go off.
Sunday Social was once again well supported by members with two visitors also on the green.
Winners were Dodi and Jean Wheeler, runners-up Doug Chessum and Jan Morton. The jackpot did not go off.
Remember: Social Bowls for the winter: Midweek 12.30pm on Tuesday (names in by 11am on the day).
Social bowls provides an opportunity for members and visitors to come along and enjoy the hospitality or this great club while sharpening their skills for the coming penant season.
Membership fees are now due, payment can be left at reception in an envelope addressed to treasurer David King.
Lists are up for those wishing to play Tueday or Saturday pennant to enter their names.

YMGCR Bowls
Wednesday pairs had 24 bowlers taking on the windy conditions, with 3 teams winning both their games.
The winning pair of Peter Lidgerwood and Elizabeth Richmond won with a fantastic score of 22 shots up and the runners-up with 17 shots up were Darryl Richmond and Kurt Bleckwehl. The jackpot failed to go off.    
Friday had 24 bowlers play, there were 3 two game winners with the combination of Darryl Richmond and Neville Coleman winning with 11shots up.
Runners-up for the day were Daniel McNeill and Elizabeth Richmond with 9 shots up and to top it all off Darryl and Neville won the jackpot.
Sunday bowls had 20 players and 3 two game winners, Peter Velardo and  Elizabeth Richmond with a very good score of 16 shots up won the money
Runners-up with 10 shots were Darryl Richmond and Greg Fisher.
The winner of the steak night voucher was Ray Brown.
If you are interested in a game on Sunday put your name down on the sheet, games start at 1pm and there is a random draw for partners.
