Hilux stolen

A grey Toyota Hilux has been stolen from Seymour.

The vehicle was parken in Loco St when it was stolen between 3.30pm on July 10 and 5.30am on July 11.

The vehicle has a bull-bar and silver alloy tray and is valued at $30,000.

Mountain bike taken

A mountain bike was stolen from a carport in Albert St, Seymour, between noon on July 9 and 4am on July 10.

The Apollo mountain bike was blue/black and valued at $600.

Counterfeit money detected

Police are investigating counterfeit $100 notes being passed around the Seymour area and are reviewing all CCTV footage from shops to identify the offenders.

Police want shop assistants to be vigilant when handed a $100 note and report any unreported incidents.

Offenders appear to be targeting fast food venues and service stations during busy periods.
