Detectives from the Cobram Criminal Investigation Unit have interviewed two people in relation to an alleged aggravated burglary and home invasion at a unit in Tom Street, Yarrawonga on Saturday morning, May 31.
A 58-year-old Yarrawonga man needed surgery after he sustained multiple facial fractures in the attack.
Last Wednesday, police arrested a 28-year-old Yarrawonga woman and the following day, a 34-year-old man from Katamatite East was also arrested.
Both people have since been released and investigations are ongoing.
