Australia Day Award Nominations close next Monday.

Australia Day Award Nominations for 2024 are closing next Monday, November 20 at 5.00pm and Federation Council is still seeking more nominations for our valued volunteers.

The Australia Day Awards are an excellent opportunity to give a pat on the back to an individual or a group who has positively affected our Federation community in the areas of social, environmental, business and/or arts and culture.

They may have hosted a single event, project or program, or have been contributing for many years.

The four categories are:

• Citizen of the Year

• Young Citizen of the Year

• Local Achiever

• Community Group of the Year

Federation Council’s Australia Day event will be held in the 350-seat capacity Morundah Opera, also known as Paradise Palladium Theatre.
