If escaping the cold indoors sounds more appealing, local arts and culture have you covered.
The Peppin Heritage Centre Gallery will host Art of Three, a joint exhibition showcasing the work of talented local artists, from July 2 to August 4.
Following closely behind will be the return of the much loved Bald Archy Prize, bringing its trademark wit, satire and cheeky portraits back to Deni for another year.
History buffs won’t want to miss a major milestone celebration this winter.
Marking 150 years of the Deniliquin-Moama Railway, a heritage locomotive will travel from Melbourne to Deniliquin via Seymour, Bendigo and Echuca this Sunday.
Visitors can upgrade their train ticket to include a Deni Historical Tour, complete with lunch and shuttle services, making it a memorable experience for newcomers and locals alike.
