Guests travelled from Sydney, Finley, Kyabram, Cohuna, Torquay, Wagga, Barham, and Castlemaine to share the day.
In addition to family and close friends, guests included Deniliquin’s Sing Australia Choir, the Deniliquin Bush Poets and the Ukelele Club, who all added song and laughter to a wonderful afternoon tea at the Deniliquin Club.
The bush poets performed poetry written especially for Alex, and his grandson Miles performed with his band, The Groovy Dudes. Alex’s son-in-law Tony helped on drums.
