Internationally acclaimed Australian group Pot-Pourri will headline the concert under the stars alongside support act singer-songwriter Ray McCartney.
This special event will feature highlights from Broadway, music theatre and opera, including songs from Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, West Side Story and Chicago.
Rotary club member and event organiser Ellie Stephens said it would be a great night of music.
“This event is really important to the local region by providing world class entertainment to regional people,” she said.
Pot-Pourri artistic director and soprano Tania de Jong said they were looking forward to presenting a “magical performance under the stars”.
“We promise to give you goosebumps, lots of laughs and tears and magnificent harmonies, in a specially curated performance of all your favourite hits from opera, Broadway and popular songs,” she said.
Project leader Peter Mogg said the venue was what made it a great local event for people to attend and enjoy.
“It’s so beautiful to be down there on dusk with the river in the background and nice music,” he said.
Mr Mogg said any surplus funds from the event would be used by Rotary for important community causes.
The event will be held at Thompsons Beach, Cobram, from 5pm to 10pm on Saturday, November 28.
