And a controversial issue is on the agenda for consideration.
Ms Le Gassick has been appointed by the council to the CEO role, replacing Peter Harriott, who departed in January.
A former manager of marketing and community services with Greater Shepparton City Council, Ms Le Gassick's most recent role before returning to the council was with TasTAFE as director of future students and industry.
Her first council meeting as CEO will also be the first since the state government released the names and boundaries of the nine wards that will be created in the municipality ahead of elections in October.
Other issues on the agenda include a motion that could lead to a winding back of council's decision not to support Australia Day events on January 26.
Cr Anthony Brophy has given a notice of intent to move a motion that would seek a report “to outline cost implications of the process of reinstating the Greater Shepparton pre-2024 Australia Day Program”.
The decision not to support Australia Day events on January 26 was controversial in some circles with celebrations going ahead on that date in Murchison and Tatura without council funding.
Council did fund and hold events either side of January 26.
Meanwhile, Cr Fern Summer has signalled she intends to move a motion in relation to the Aquamoves splash park.
Cr Summer wants officers to produce "a report outlining costs and benefits of providing free general access to the Aquamoves splash park, with a view to enhance and promote paid visitor participation to the main Aquamoves facility".
Councillors will also consider another motion brought by Cr Summer, which, if passed, would see a report produced outlining the "costs and benefits of providing one complimentary tip ticket each year to every Greater Shepparton residential household/property“.
