I write in great consternation in relation to the monstrous blight that may be built in this greater district and others: I refer to the solar and wind farms.
A couple of questions need to be asked.
Are the landholders willing participants or do they have no say, or are they going to be furnished with vast sums of money for allowing their land to be desecrated.
Sad part of this is because the world population has been deceived and lied to that CO² is a pollutant and heating the Earth, not so on both counts.
The sun supplies 99.9 per cent of all warmth on planet Earth.
CO² (carbon dioxide) is one of the tiniest greenhouse gases that only occupies 0.04 per cent of Earth's atmosphere.
It has been blamed for the supposedly disastrous heating of planet Earth, which in actual fact has not warmed in any way for the last 15 years.
The greenhouse gas that occupies 97 per cent of the atmosphere is water vapour.
There has never been an open debate on this matter and anyone that speaks against it is silenced or not allowed to address any gathering arguing contrary views.
Eighty-two years ago I learned all this stuff when I was at school.
We learned about the solar system, the sun, and the three elements that were essential for life on Earth.
That was the warmth of the sun, the rain that falls, and carbon dioxide.
CO² is the backbone of all human life on the planet, without it no plant or animal life would exist, therefore there would be no food.
Why this is not being taught throughout school curriculums today is a mystery to me.
The young ones who have not been taught the truth, are believing the activist lies that are being promoted on a daily basis.
Greta Thunberg has a lot to answer for in creating an atmosphere of disaster that in turn scares the wits out of the younger generation, who have not been taught the true facts in school.
As far as renewables go, the wind renews itself every day and the sun shines every day but the machines that produce this expensive electricity wear out.
About 20 years is the life span of these generators; what to do with them now?
We have been told that the materials used in the manufacture of these devices cannot be recycled.
At the end of their life, they must be cut into smaller pieces and buried.
Is this poisonous material going to affect our soils and leach into the water tables? I would say, of course it will.
This whole renewable debacle has never been thought through.
We out in the bush here, two per cent of the population, find it very hard to kick back and defend our right to farm without somebody wanting to forcibly take our land or take our water away from us, and keep on deceiving us with lies, empty promises, and offering absolute pittances in so called compensation.
But then we are governed by city centric politicians who have no idea of the people and the land (and don't care) that furnishes the big cities with food and earns billions of dollars in export income.
In their eyes the family farm is expendable. And don't worry, corporate farms will take over your role.
I am totally against all this green renewable stuff and sincerely hope that the rest of the population will rise up against what is being thrust down our throats.
I can see a pushback starting to happen now.
Yours etc.
