Stirring up a Storm in beef comp

Hollow Point Urban U017 cleaned up the bull classes and won Grand Champion Beast of the Show.

The beef cattle section of the Deniliquin Show have been a success once again, with strong school support and other entrants who came from outside Deniliquin.

Despite being a hot day on Saturday, the cattle were on their best behaviour in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Deniliquin High School and Moama Anglican Grammar students were heavily involved, and had great success.

But it was Trent and Lacey Storm from Barr Creek Angus who had the best luck of the show.

They claimed a number of ribbons with females off their Cohuna property.

They also brought along Hollow point Urban U017, who they are managing on their property on behalf of Hollow Point Hereford in Tasmania, who dominated in the bull classes.

Hollow Point Urban U017 claimed Grand Champion Bull of the Show and Grand Champion Beast of the Show, and was also reserve champion in the senior male 20 months and over class.
