Voice referendum early voting open

Early voting for the Voice referendum is open today until 5.30 and tomorrow from 8.30am - 6pm at the old Ray White building 6A/161 Belmore St, in front of Woolworths.

Early voting for the Voice referendum is currently open with residents able to cast their vote early at the old Ray White building at 6A/161 Belmore St, in front of Woolworths.

The early voting centre will be open from 8.30am – 5.30pm Thursday and 8.30am – 6pm on Friday, October 13.

On polling day this Saturday, October 14, Nicholls residents will be able to attend Yarrawonga College P-12, Tungamah Primary School or St James Town Hall from 8am – 6pm to cast their vote.

In a lead up to the referendum, the Uniting Church in Australia is holding an Australia-wide in-person and Zoom Referendum Eve Prayer Vigil from 2pm to 8 pm this Friday, October 13. The Zoom will be led from various Uniting Churches around Australia.

St. Andrew’s Uniting Church, Tom Street, Yarrawonga will be open during this time.

Anyone who is interested is invited to attend at any time to watch the Zoom, to offer their own silent prayers for a successful outcome for the referendum, to light a candle or to simply be present.
