If you are catching a flight or even heading down to the footy this weekend, then be aware that continued resurfacing of the southbound lanes of the Hume Freeway will cause delays.

Resurfacing works on the Hume Freeway will mean a full closure of the southbound lanes of the Hume Freeway from the Wallan off-ramp through to Donnybrook Road in Kalkallo.
Plan and allow for at least 25 minutes of additional travel time as you move through the area via the signed detours.
These essential works will involve resurfacing the road to maintain its condition and are necessary to prevent further degradation.
Crews will work continuously from 9pm Friday, May 3, to 5am Monday, May 6, weather permitting, to minimise disruption to the community.
Contractors will set up for the weekend of works from 6pm Friday.
The southbound lanes will be closed to traffic from 9pm Friday.
Road users that reach the Wallan off-ramp before 9pm can continue to travel along the southbound lanes of the Hume Freeway as usual.
