Yarrawonga is gearing up for one of its biggest retail openings in recent years, with the new Coles supermarket welcoming customers from 9am Wednesday, May 27.

The highly anticipated development is set to bring a fresh new shopping experience, greater convenience and renewed excitement to the heart of the community.
Store Manager Craig Kelly, who has lived in Yarrawonga for more than 20 years and brings more than 35 years of supermarket experience, said the store reflects the town’s growth and changing needs.
Craig said the store had been designed specifically for the community and believed locals would be genuinely impressed when they walked through the doors.
A striking hand-painted mural now forms the visual centrepiece of the store, celebrating agriculture, community and the region’s identity.
Craig said the mural tells the story of Yarrawonga and represents farmers, families and the community spirit that defines the town while also highlighting the Coles family origins in St James.
The new store introduces a state-of-the-art shopping experience designed around choice, freshness and convenience.
Yarrawonga Coles Store Manager Craig Kelly said the store reflects the town’s growth and changing needs.
“We’ve focused on making shopping easier and more enjoyable, with everything under one roof and plenty of space to move comfortably,” Craig said.
“There’s already been a real buzz around town, and we’re excited to finally open and welcome everyone in.”
