For more than a decade, these prestigious awards have celebrated business excellence, innovation and outstanding customer service across Moira Shire and the border communities.
This year, Council is excited to partner with Premier Protection Services as the naming rights partner, together with many wonderful category sponsors, to help deliver one of the most important events on our calendar and show our support for business growth across the region.
Moira Shire Council chair administrator, Dr Graeme Emonson said the awards honour the diverse businesses and people driving the regional economy.
“The Business Excellence awards are a time to celebrate the people behind Moira Shire’s economy, the owners who take risks, the employees who deliver exceptional service, the innovators finding better ways of doing things and the businesses creating jobs and opportunities throughout our region,” Dr Emonson said.
“It’s special to see nominations received from customers wanting to recognise businesses that have provided an outstanding experience, as well as industry members recognising excellence among their fellow professionals, demonstrating how strongly people value great local services.
“We’re grateful to our naming rights partner, Premier Protection Services, and all our category sponsors for helping make these awards possible.”
A judging panel selected the finalists after reviewing submissions by the businesses who formally accepted their nomination.
Moira Shire Business of the Year category will be selected by the judging panel from among the category winners.
Winners from each category will be announced on Thursday, October 15 at the awards night celebration, held at Max’s at the Beach, Thompsons Beach, Cobram.
