Two of Echuca’s local rivals clashed in what also served as a second grand final rematch from the 2025 season decider.

Rochester got a win back against the reigning premier, the Tigers in season-best form heading into the interleague break after winning their fourth in a row.

The Bombers had the lead at halftime, but Rochy fired through 10 of its 12 goals after the main break to rampage to a 12.7 (79) to 7.13 (55) win.

The result moves the Tigers (7-6) back into the finals spots, while Kyabram (6-7) falls out of the top six.

Echuca (12-1) has matchups to look forward to against both sides in the coming weeks, taking on Rochester in Moama in its next league game on July 18, before battling Kyabram at Echuca South the following Saturday.
