A crisp winter’s morning failed to dent the enthusiasm of some of Shepparton Netball Association’s avid youngsters.

Round eight of the season produced some slick on-court action, headlined by the under-11 clash between St Luke’s Lorikeets and Mooroopna Blue.

Both sides zipped around the court with authority in the 11am game, headlining what was an entertaining day’s play at McEwen Reserve.

Around the courts, Shepparton United Red continues to set the pace in the under-15 competition, remaining undefeated after its 48-15 win over Shepparton Swans White.

Mooroopna Violet and Kyabram Diamonds earned a spot on the winners’ list in the under-13s, while Shepparton South, Saints Diamonds and Greater Shepparton Secondary College reigned supreme in the open-grade competition.

News photographer Holly Daniel was behind the lens courtside to capture all the action of the Lorikeets and Mooroopna clash.
