A wonderful weekend of bowls was held at the Deniliquin Bowling Club, with $10,500 up for grabs for winners in the Open Premier Classic Fours.

As well as several local teams, bowlers travelled from around the region and interstate to compete.
The weather was flawless, and there were some incredible bowls played across the weekend.
Runners-up Daryl Weymouth, Mark Quor (s), Matt O'Bree and Bluey Fletcher.
The club thanked everyone who made their way to Deniliquin to compete, and the fantastic volunteers who put in the effort to make the weekend happen.
The winning team consisted of Corey Hicks (s), Stuart Forbes, Stephen Field and Kevin Booker.
In second place was Mark Quor (s), Bluey Fletcher, Daryl Weymouth and Matt O'Bree.
Third went to Dave Barry (s), Kevin Jones, Darren Rowe and Marty Hannaford, and in fourth were Nathan Murray (s), Fred McStea, Dan Grant and Aaron Illman.
A best last game prize was also awarded, going to Gary Conforti (s), Dale Oddy, Neville Bowland and Trevor Zimmer.

In local competition, Tom ‘T-bone’ Todd and Noel Murray were winners of this week’s Deniliquin Bowling Club Joker Bowls.
They finished with two wins and an impressive +34.
Lochie Smith was drawn for the Joker but couldn’t find the elusive ticket, meaning the jackpot rolls over once again.
Next Wednesday’s jackpot climbs to $1050.
