Young Mulwala golfer Miller Sanderson of Mulwala has dropped 14 shots in his last 20 rounds of golf and at this point in time is off a 23 handicap.
Since June this year, the recently turned 15-year-old has been playing every Friday evening in the Squires-sponsored nine-hole event and in 18-hole competition events on Saturday and Sunday.
In the last 10 rounds in the men’s competition, Miller has reduced his handicap by five shots.
He loves his golf. “It’s amazing when you’re playing well!” he said. “Sandy Jamieson and Baxter Droop have given me lessons which were amazing.”
Junior pennant team manager Dario Prighel said Miller was a most passionate young golfer and is wished all the best with his golf.
The promising young Miller is appreciative of the junior pennant team manager.
“Dario got me into golf and taught me the basics,” Miller said.
