It is with great sadness we advise of the passing of Marko BANJANIN – born 21 June 1925 and who passed away peacefully, aged 100 at Sunshine Hospital 11.35pm Sunday, 19 April 2026 – much loved father to John, Nada, Mark and Danny; father-in-law to Kellie, Carol and Ana; beloved grandfather to Peter, Dasha, Zane and Sara.

A funeral service will be held 12.30pm Monday, 27 April 2026 at the Serbian Orthodox Church St George situated at 6 Kate Street, St Albans followed by a graveside service and burial at "Monumental C, Grave C412", Keilor Cemetery, Ely Court, Keilor East followed by a post-funeral celebration of Marko's life back at the Serbian Orthodox Church St George Hall, 6 Kate Street, St Albans.
