ClubMulwala Outdoor BowlsRather a mixed week with the weather, Tuesday was a lovely sunny day, Sunday was a typical winter’s day, damp and cold.
Tuesday saw a pleasing number of bowlers enjoy a great afternoon of bowls. Great to see so many of the members becoming regulars for the Tuesday social bowls and always good to have visitors from far and wide join in.
Following some very close games the winners on the day were Pam Dodman and John Thurling. Runners-up, one shot behind, was the team of Joy Bruce and Barry Pitt.
Unfortunately due to the inclement weather Sunday 2-4-2 had to be called off.
A birdy whispered that Kaye Smith and her partner won all their games at the Moama Tournament, but alas were relegated to 4th on a countback - great effort Kaye.
Remember Social Bowls for the winter; Midweek will be 12.30pm on Tuesday (names in by 11am on the day); Sunday 2-4-2 at 12.30pm (names in by 11am on the day).
