The bowls season was just starting to flow nicely when the club had to stop for the Victorian Open to be played.
The only pennant played in the last week was Saturday when A4 hosted Corowa Civic once again. The A4 team had an extremely tight match with scores tight all day. Unfortunately they were beaten by the smallest of margins when it mattered.
The Ladies Nominated Pairs continued on Friday when Kaye Smith and Bev Norwood played Pam Dodman and Jacqui Seymour.  Some very good bowls were played in hot but fine conditions.  On the day Kaye and Bev were too strong, well done ladies on some fine bowling.
Please keep an eye on the notice board to see when the final will be played and come along to give your support.
Practice is now up and running each Thursday from 3.30pm onwards, for those members who work practice will still be going well after 5.00pm so don’t miss out.
There will be a coach available to answer any questions or assist all in improving their skills.
The days and time for social games are likely to change as the club begins events, make sure you check the notice board regularly.
