Shannon back for ATA luncheon

By Yarrawonga Chronicle

Across the Arts is pleased to present their 2019 Literary Lunch guest speaker Shannon Kelly White.

Shannon was born and raised in Yarrawonga and then moved to Melbourne to go to university and begin a career in nursing.

Shannon started a family and while a stay-at-home mum she thought it might be fun to start a food blog.

A few years in Shannon got bold and published her first book, ‘Shannon’s Kitchen: Healthy Food You’ll Actually F**king Eat’.

It is now a best-seller and won two Australian awards and an International Gourmand award.

Shannon’s second book is a refreshing and honest take on modern parenthood called ‘Parenting for Legends’ and she is currently working on her third book which will be published in 2020.

If you want to hear all about the new book you will have to come to the lunch.

The luncheon will be held at Club Mulwala on October 20 at 12pm in the Endeavour Room.

The chef at Club Mulwala will prepare a delicious two course lunch from Shannon’s cookbook along with a complimentary wine on arrival.

Tickets are $25 available on trybooking www.trybooking.com/BEQAU and Andrew Spilva’s office.
