Mr Janson has been at the helm of C4EM for 13 months and in that time has been integral in setting up business and marketing strategies, brand development, and has been heavily involved in advocating for the organisation’s current projects.
He was also successful in gaining two Strengthening Rural Communities grants from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. The first ($10,000) was used to run a well-being workshop last year and the second ($20,000) will be used to run a series of finance workshops this month.
C4EM Chair Dr Cath Lees said Chris’ enthusiasm for not only C4EM, but the Echuca Moama community had been extraordinary.
“I would like to thank Chris for his dedication to the position and wish him well on his next endeavour in Melbourne,” she said.
“Moving forward, this gives C4EM the opportunity to now look ahead and consolidate what Chris has already achieved and how we continue making Echuca Moama an even better place to live.
“I’m incredibly fortunate to have a proactive and enthusiastic board who are excited to begin the next chapter for C4EM.”
