Featuring 385 textile works, artists were guided by monthly colour and word prompts, with the idea that the collection celebrates creating art from the artists’ existing fabric collections.
Running until the end of June in the town hall, the display has already travelled across Australia and the United States for viewing.
The gallery is also hosting the 6 Voices Challenge, an exhibition featuring the work of six artists, which saw each of them create their pieces by working with a single assigned colour.
In addition, visitors can view a display created by Michele Truscott, who is also featured within the Rainbow Stash Buster Project and the 6 Voices Challenge exhibitions.
Showcased are evening clutches handmade by the Axedale artist, using combed silk tops, machine embroidery and hand-beading.
Together, these exhibitions offer a diverse look into the world of modern textile art.
To view the exhibitions and learn more about the projects, the Kyabram Town Hall Gallery welcomes visitors for a gold coin donation. It is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
