I have also been blessed with wonderful staff who have tended to our customers’ needs in the most professional and caring manner. Our current team continues that same dedication and willingness to help.
Adding to the pleasure of this anniversary is the return of Dana, my very first employee 45 years ago, after an absence of about three years. Her experience, familiar face and connection with our customers make her a very welcome addition back to the team.
Some of our customer relationships now span three generations. Customers who first came to us all those years ago have brought in their children, and today we are serving their grandchildren. Being trusted by the same families through engagements, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries is something I treasure.
Over the years, I have watched Yarrawonga’s main street change considerably. Businesses have opened and closed, familiar faces have moved on, and new people have brought fresh ideas to town. Through all that change, we are still here—and that gives me immense pride and satisfaction.
But 45 years is no reason to rest on our laurels. We will continue serving the people of Yarrawonga, Mulwala and the surrounding district, along with the many visitors to our town, with the personal care and attention we have always believed in.
To everyone who has supported us, whether for decades or just recently, thank you. You have made these years both possible and deeply rewarding.
Our approach remains as simple as ever: the customer comes first, second and third.
