Students from Mulwala Public School have again participated in Pulse Deniliquin with 830 students from 15 schools across the region.

The program included two days of music, dance and drama workshops and concluded in two performances on July 30 by Year 3-12 students to showcase their artistic creations in an opportunity they would not normally have.

Children in Years K-2 presented their musical items the previous day.

Pulse Deniliquin was created to support high-quality arts resources, workshops and performance opportunities for public school students across far west NSW.

Through sustained access to creative experiences, the program is helping build confidence, aspiration, cultural capital and long-term engagement in the performing arts for students and their school communities.

Pulse Deniliquin also provides teachers with inbuilt professional learning opportunities

All workshops are facilitated by industry professionals and tutors from the department and provide a great opportunity for students to step into opportunities within the annual Schools Spectacular show and beyond.
