The Deni Show’s shearing and wool handling events were still well-supported on Saturday, with a good number of entries and a strong crowd of spectators.
As the Riverina is one of the wool capitals of Australia, it was no surprise to see so many gun shearers on hand for the competition, as well as some top-level wool handlers.
Across the day, shearers battled in the heat to bring home some strong results.
One of the most coveted awards of the competition is the Ernie Beehag Memorial Best Local Shearer.
This year it was awarded to Grant Lundie.
