Results for Monday night July 8 – Winners with 32pts were Noel Owen – Ellen Buckly – Marg Hill – Jan Stephens.
Runners Up with 21pts were Reg Bryce – Marna Tomlinson – Gwen Owen – Joan Wilson.
Thursday, July 17 – Winners with 30pts were Barb Eberle – Christine Wilson – Gwen Owen and Bella.
Runners Up with 23pts + 10 were Reg Bryce – Annie King – Sue Stillard – Kay Ellis.
Third with 23pts +8 were Lynne Harmer – Pat Crothers – Marg Hill – Geoff Charlwood.
Sunday, July 14 was the annual Gala Day Tournament with bowlers coming from Benalla, Corowa, Howlong, Numurkah, Wodonga and Mulwala clubs.
With some very good bowling on the day the results for the 1st Fill were a team from Wodonga skippered by Jenny Scattergood with 43pts.
A Mulwala team skippered by Tricia Murphy with 36pts came 2nd.
The 2nd Fill resulted in a Benalla team with 44pts were the winners skippered by Doug McIntyre.
Runners Up was a Mulwala team skippered by Judi Cummins with 40pts. A lovely afternoon tea made an enjoyable day even better.
YMGCR Bowls
Wednesday, July 17 – 32 players participated in 3 bowl pairs.
The winners were Greg Green and Marie Whitehead with + 16. Runners up were Mick Reilly and Betty Richmond with + 14.
Jackpot not claimed.
Lucky number was Marie Morffew with no. 24 for $30 and Ray Brown with no. 25 for $20.
Sunday, July 21 – 16 players enjoyed their game of 2x4x2.
Winners were Daryl Richmond and Ian Currie with +8. Runners up were Ray Brown and Greg Fisher + 9.
Jackpot of $32 not claimed.
The O&M first draft is on the webpage for season 2019 - 2020 and opening day is 6 weeks away.
Club Mulwala Outdoor Bowls
A very cold blast for most of the week limited bowling this week.
Social: Tuesday, July 16 again saw a brave number of bowlers including members and visitors on the green, on a really chilly afternoon.
Winners on the day were Doug Chessum and Cliff Morton. Runners up were Jan Morton and visitor Liz Murdoch.
There were three 2 game winners with the placings being decided on countback, very competitive and close bowling.
The jackpot did not go off.
Remember social bowls are on each Tuesday at 12.30, (please try and be in attendance and paid up by 12.15).
Sheets are on the notice board behind the escalators, format will always be determined by the number of bowlers on the day.
Visitors and single entries are always welcome.
Sunday, July 21 the weather finally took its toll with insufficient numbers entered to play, bowls were called off.
Sheet is on the board for next week, remember bowls begin at 12.30 with names in by 11.00am please.
2-4-2 nominate your team, however single entries are also accepted.
Pennant
The season is still a long way away, however forward planning is underway, lists are on the board for those members wishing to play pennant to put their names down.

Yarrawonga Bowls
One of the Yarrawonga Bowls members had a special birthday last Sunday. Congratulations to Ron Neilson on reaching the big “90”.
The club hope you had a great time celebrating with your friends and family Ron and wish you many more good times in the years to come.

Saturday, July 20 - Winners – J Barnes, N Marsden, E Edwards and K McQualter. Runners Up – J Binental, F Liberg, M Reilly and R Jeffcott.

These games start at 12.30pm and names need to be down by 11am on the day.
