While the Rams were wasteful in front of goal, they created plenty of opportunities through pressure, great link play and excellent teamwork.
Nathalia challenged hard in the last quarter however some of the Rams’ more experienced players absorbed the pressure and steadied the ship to allow the team to run out 10 point winners in a crucial home and away match.
The victory was built on persistence and a willingness to work for one another across the ground and the young Rams will take plenty of learnings and confidence from it moving forward.

After defeating Nathalia in the teams' previous encounter, the Deniliquin Rams under-14s couldn't replicate that performance, going down 6.8 (44) to 2.5 (17).
Missing quite a few key players, the Rams looked a little flat and struggled to find their usual spark, making it difficult to get their game going.
Despite the result, the group continued to compete to the final siren and showed plenty of character.
The young Rams can certainly learn from Saturdays match and can continue to build towards the second half of the season.

Under-12s
The Deniliquin Rams under-12s delivered another impressive performance, defeating Moama Magpies White 6.7 (43) to 1.1 (7).
The Rams set the tone early, keeping Moama scoreless for the first three quarters.
In true sportsmanship the under-12s shared some players to even up the teams, well done to those boys.

Under-10s
The Deni Rams under-10s had another impressive performance this week, taking on Moama Magpies Black.
The team came out firing in the first quarter, setting the tone early with strong pressure and clean ball movement.
Caleb Farley and George Smith were standout contributors, finding plenty of the footy and leading by example.
Arabella Hayes showed her willingness to bring teammates into the game, making sure all players got valuable touches and plenty of the ball.
It was tightly contested match at times, with plenty of hard-fought battles around the ball.
The Rams showed great determination, consistently winning the contested ball and working hard to move into space, sharing it well across the ground.
Gus McGrillen also had a strong game on the ball, competing fiercely and earning himself an award for his performance.
Overall, it was another fantastic team effort from the Deni Rams, combining skill, teamwork, and determination by all the team.
