Germany's Munich Airport restarts flight operations

The tower at the airport was evacuated at 8:33pm ‌due ​to the smell of ​smoke, the ‌airport said earlier.

There were some delays in arrivals and departures, with some flights reportedly being diverted.

German ​media said the incident appears to have ​been ​a false ​alarm. The reason ‌for the flight interruption was a report of suspected smoke odour, according to ​media reports.
