Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content The event is on Friday, March 8 and will feature the usual rodeo events such as bull riding, bucking horses, barrel racing and more. Food, drinks and alcohol will be available for purchase. Back again after a successful performance in 2023, the Iain Archibald Band will be performing at the end of the event. Rodeo committee secretary Janelle McDonald encouraged members of the public to buy their tickets to enjoy the night. “Come prepared for a good, fun event filled with lots of laughter,” she said. The event is back for its 78th year and is one of the five longest-running rodeos in Australia. Gates open at 2pm, the bar opens at 5pm and the events will begin at 7pm and are expected to finish at around 11pm. Ticket prices range from free to $70.
